Over 1,700 Ukrainians in total released from captivity, says Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his nightly address on Saturday provided more information about the Ukrainians released in a prisoner swap with Russia as of February 4.

He said 1,762 people in total have returned home after being held captive as prisoners of war. "We are constantly working to bring home all our people held in Russian captivity," Zelensky said.

Talking about the most recent prisoner swap in which 116 Ukrainians were freed, Zelensky said 114 are privates and sergeants, and two are officers.
