BNP Paribas posts Q4 revenue of €12.1B, up 7.8% YoY
BNP Paribas revealed on Tuesday that its revenue in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 came in at €12.1 billion, increasing by 7.8% in comparison to the same timeframe in 2021. Net income attributable to shareholders in the same period amounted to €2.15 billion, dropping 6.7% year over year, while operating income landed at €2.86 billion, marking a 2.5% annual growth.
Full-year results showed a 9% increase in revenue compared with 2021, amounting to €50.42 billion, while net income attributable to shareholders arrived at €10.2 billion, marking a 7.5% rise.
"On the strength of these results, which confirm the relevance of our 2025 strategic plan, and confident in the Group's ability to continue its disciplined and sustained growth, the Group has revised its objectives upward," the bank CEO Jean-Laurent Bonnafe commented on the report.
