Pence reportedly receives subpoena in Trump probe
Former United States Vice President Mike Pence has been subpoenaed as part of an investigation into former President Donald Trump, US media reported. The probe is led by special counsel Jack Smith and covers Trump's involvement in efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, as well as the classified documents Trump kept after leaving the White House.
It is currently unclear whether Smith wants Pence to testify or provide any documents. Earlier, CNN reported that Trump's former national security adviser Robert O’Brien was subpoenaed as part of the same investigation.
