Meadows reportedly subpoenaed in special counsel's Jan. 6 probe
Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows (pictured) received a subpoena from special counsel Jack Smith, who is looking into former President Donald Trump's role in the January 6 insurrection, CNN reported, citing a source familiar with the matter.
According to the report, Meadows was served with a subpoena sometime in January in relation to the special counsel's request for documents and testimonies regarding the Capitol breech.
The decision to go after one of Trump's top advisers comes after the special counsel already subpoenaed former Vice President Mike Pence.
