Boeing stops 787 Dreamliner deliveries due to doc issues
Boeing Co stopped the deliveries of the 787 Dreamliner over documentation issues, according to the Federal Aviation Administration and industry officials on Thursday.
"Boeing temporarily halted deliveries of 787 Dreamliners after notifying the FAA that it is conducting additional analysis on a fuselage component," the FAA said in a statement. "Deliveries will not resume until the FAA is satisfied that the issue has been addressed."
The news comes just a week after Boeing announced it had discontinued the assembly of new airplanes. Dreamliner deliveries are critical to the company's revenues.
