Boeing to sell 80 Dreamliners to S. Arabia

Boeing Co. is close to securing a deal with two Saudi Arabian airliners that are looking to buy around 80 Dreamliners from the plane manufacturer, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Saudia and the newly-established Riyadh Air are eyeing 39 of the 787 wide-body jets each, with an option to procure about 40 additional Dreamliners later in the future.

The negotiations between Boeing and the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund to seal the $35 billion deal were previously reported by the WSJ over the weekend.
