WH hails Boeing's $37B jets deal with Saudi Arabia

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre lauded the Boeing Company's $37 billion-worth deal with Saudi Arabia, that will enable the American aircraft company to produce up to 121 Boeing 787 Dreamliner carriers to Saudi Arabian airlines.

"Together, these deals will support over one million American jobs in the aerospace supply chain across 44 states. The most recent deals with Saudi Arabia alone support more than 140,000 American jobs," Jean-Pierre said in the statement.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported that two Saudi Arabian airliners, Saudia and the newly-established Riyadh Air, were considering a purchase of 80 planes from Boeing.
