Russia says its air defense systems disabled Ukrainian drone
The Russian Defence Ministry on Sunday issued a statement regarding a drone strike that targeted its territory earlier in the day.
The ministry accused Ukraine of unsuccessfully attempting to launch an attack against Russia, which its air defense systems intercepted. The drone allegedly lost its navigation system and subsequently crashed near the village of Kireyevsk in the Tula region, injuring three.
"The Pole-21 electronic warfare system carried out an impact on a Ukrainian strike drone, as a result of which its navigation system was disabled," the ministry stated.
