Shell sees higher LNG output in Q1
British oil and gas giant Shell plc announced on Thursday that the liquefied natural gas (LNG) volumes are expected to be between 7 million to 7.4 million tonnes in the first quarter of the fiscal 2023, rising from 6.8 million tonnes in the final quarter of 2022.
The company also projected an increased integrated gas output in the first quarter, forecasting 930,000 to 970,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, up from 917,000 in the last trimester. Upstream production is expected to move between 1.8 billion and 1.9 billion barrels of oil equivalent a day in the first quarter, slightly over the 1.86 billion recorded in the fourth trimester of the fiscal 2022.
According to the company's first-quarter outlook, the oil products sales volumes are expected to range between 2.25 billion and 2.65 million barrels per day.
