Europe closes unchanged as LMVH hits new record
Major European stock markets closed Monday's session mostly unchanged after better-than-expected data from Germany showed the economy improved in the past months. In business news, LVMH became the first European company to break the $500 billion market cap.
The DAX lost 0.11% at the closing bell, with Zalando SE dropping 2.16%. The Euro Stoxx 50 declined by 0.15%, as Stellantis tumbled 6.77%. On the other hand, the FTSE 100 and the CAC 40 traded flat.
The euro added 0.30% against the dollar to sell for 1.10220 at 5:27 pm CET, while the pound accelerated 0.08% to $1.24526.
