EIA: US natural gas storage grows by 110 Bcf
Working natural gas in storage in the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii, stood at 2,446 billion cubic feet (Bcf) as of May 26, according to the US Energy Information Administration's (EIA) report released on Thursday.
The total storage thus expanded by 110 Bcf compared to the previous week.
The current total storage is up by 29.5% from the same week a year ago and by 16.6% compared to the five-year average from 2018 to 2022.
