Oil rises, highest since late 2022

The prices of oil futures registered gains on Monday, with Brent rising to its highest value since December 2022 and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) reaching its highest point since November 2022.

Worries on the supply side continued to persist, as investors awaited possible further cuts from OPEC+ members.

Brent for deliveries in November rose 0.70% to $89.22 per barrel at 12:58 am ET. After briefly reaching its highest point in nine months at $86.10, WTI for settlements in October gained 0.43%, going for $85.90 per barrel at 12:59 am ET.
