According to SPA, Saudi Arabia's state news agency, the country shared it will be continuing its cut of one million barrels per day from October to the end of December, with its production expected to remain at around nine million barrels per day throughout the year. Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters that the country will do the same and extend its oil output slashes as well, until the end of 2023, cutting the production by 300,000 barrels per day. Novak underlined that the action was taken in order to keep the crude market in balance.
