South Korean PM to meet with Xi during trip to China
South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo (pictured) will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his two-day visit to China, his office said on Saturday. Han will also attend the opening of the Asian Games in Hangzhou, according to South Korean news outlet Yonhap.
Han is expected to "convey Seoul's initiatives to arrange a trilateral summit involving Japan and China" and invite Xi to visit South Korea, the report said. Han previously said that his trip "aims to demonstrate Seoul's dedication to enhancing South Korea-China relations," according to Yonhap.
