Russia targets Odessa with Onyx missiles
Russia launched an attack on the Black Sea port of Odessa during the night, a Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces spokesperson said on Saturday. Two supersonic cruise Onyx missiles struck an open area and there are currently no reports of casualties or significant damage. Russia previously attacked Odessa with Onyx missiles in late July, leaving no casualties.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said Russian heavy flamethrower systems targeted "enemy manpower concentrations" in three Donetsk settlements. In addition, seven Ukrainian drones were brought down by Russian air defense systems.
