Medvedev: Russia lacking choices but conflict with 'fascist' NATO
Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev warned on Tuesday that Russia is getting short of options but entering into "direct conflict" with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) amid the recent supplies of Abrams tanks reportedly delivered to Ukraine by the United States.
On his Telegram account, Medvedev slammed NATO as "fascist" and compared it to Hitler's Axis, saying that if a conflict escalates it would bring more serious consequences than the ones experienced globally during World War II.
Although the number of tanks Washington sent to Ukraine has not been confirmed, there is speculation that it could reach 31 as previously promised.
