Russian admiral seen at meeting after death claims
Russian Black Sea Fleet Commander Admiral Viktor Sokolov attended a Defense Ministry meeting on Tuesday, a day after Ukrainian special forces claimed he was killed in attacks on Crimea earlier this month.
Sokolov was seen participating remotely in the meeting in a video and photographs shared by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The Special Operations Forces of Ukraine yesterday also alleged that they killed 34 Russian "officers" in the strike against the Russian fleet's headquarters in Sevastopol. Meanwhile, Moscow reported only one serviceman as missing after the attack.
