US FAA concludes Blue Origin rocket explosion probe
The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) completed its investigation of Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin rocket explosion and urged the company to perform what it described as 21 corrective actions.
The FAA stressed that Blue Origin should not launch the rocket in question, New Shepard, until it implements the asked modifications and obtains a new flying license. The agency explained it demanded the "redesign of engine and nozzle components to improve structural performance during operation as well as organizational changes."
A New Shepard rocket exploded after suffering an engine malfunction during testing in June.
