GOP's Christie: Trump hiding behind golf club walls
Former New Jersey Governor and a nominee for the Republican candidate in the 2024 election, Chris Christie (pictured), accused former President Donald Trump of "hiding behind the walls of his golf club" and the current one, Joe Biden, of doing the same "in his basement."
Speaking at the GOP debate in Simi Valley, California, Christie noted that neither of the two men is showing up in public to answer questions, particularly on debt, which they both contributed to. He stressed that Trump should have been present at the debate just like other candidates.
Christie concluded that, if a government shutdown happens, it is to be blamed on "everyone in Washington DC who has failed to do their job."
