Trump: DeSantis 'sworn enemy' of American farmer
Former United States President Donald Trump on Sunday accused Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a potential Republican rival for the upcoming presidential elections, of being a "sworn enemy" of the American farmer.
"He's been voting horribly, and he's been vetoing funding and support for farmers left and right," Trump remarked. "Now he's trying to lie about his record and suddenly pretending to be a supporter of biofuels," the former president slammed the Florida governor. "Ron DeSanctus has spent his entire time in Congress angrily railing against ethanol and fighting to terminate the renewable fuel standard," he added.
"He cannot be trusted," the former leader of the United States said. "He'll stab you in the back just like he stabbed MAGA in the back," Trump underlined.
