Trump to appear in court on Monday for civil fraud trial
Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, confirmed in a post on his Truth Social platform that he will attend a civil fraud trial in New York on October 2.
"The judge, Arthur Engoron refuses to accept our big win in the court of appeals, nullifying much of the case that the racist Attorney General of New York, Letitia James has charged us with. Nobody can believe it!," Trump wrote. "THIS WHOLE CASE IS SHAM!!! See you in Court - Monday morning," the former president added.
The 45th President of the United States, along with his adult children, has been identified as a key witness in the attorney general's lawsuit, which seeks $250 million in damages, alleging that Trump inflated his net worth by billions.
