Ratcliffe reportedly considers a stake in Manchester Utd.
British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS Sports is mulling buying a stake in Manchester United rather than seeking complete control, Sky News reported Monday.
INEOS Sports has approached the Glazer family with a proposal for a deal under which it would buy equal parts of its shares and those of Manchester United listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Glazer family owns a minority stake in Manchester United and exercises control through a dual-class share structure.
