Crude prices ease ahead of EIA oil inventory data

Crude prices for front-month deliveries declined on Wednesday as investors awaited the latest report by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) that will reveal the volume of oil stockpiles in the United States.

The agency is expected to present data covering a two-week period after the report was delayed last week due to a system upgrade.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for settlements in December dropped 1.43% to sell at $77.07 per barrel at 9:25 am ET. Brent for January contracts fell 1.25% to $81.43 per barrel.
