No breakthrough in indirect US-Iran talks

The indirect negotiations between Washington, Brussels, and Tehran hosted by Qatar haven't produced any breakthroughs in the revival of the Iran nuclear deal, according to a report published by Tasnim News Agency on Wednesday.

Sources familiar with the matter said that the negotiations between Iran's Chief Negotiator for the Nuclear Agreement, Ali Bagheri Kani (pictured), and European Union's foreign policy representative Enrique Mora ended today without a breakthrough.

The JCPOA talks were suspended in March after Washington refused to remove Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from its list of terrorist organizations and refused to provide Tehran with economic guarantees for the agreement.
