Norris takes pole position at Russian GP

McLaren driver Lando Norris will start tomorrow's Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix from the pole position after winning the qualifying session on Saturday and securing the first pole position of his Formula 1 career.

Ferrari's Carlos Sainz came in second and will start the race from the front row alongside Norris, while Williams' George Russell had the third-best qualifying time.

Despite having recorded the best time in the first two qualifying rounds, Lewis Hamilton only came in fourth after spinning on his final lap. Meanwhile, overall championships leader Max Verstappen will start from the back of the grid after receiving a penalty for using too many engines.
