North Korea calls US aid to Ukraine 'unethical crime'
Pyongyang criticized on Sunday Washington's decision to send Abrams tanks to Ukraine to boost the country's defense against Russia, calling the move an "unethical crime" that aims to prolong the crisis.
"The US is working hard to supply such offensive weapons to Ukraine at any cost in disregard of the just concern and criticism of the international community. This is an unethical crime aimed at keeping the international situation unstable," state agency KCNA cited North Korea's Foreign Ministry as saying.
The remarks come a day after the sister of North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un, Kim Yo Jong, condemned the US intent to deliver 31 Abrams tanks to Kiev, arguing Washington is "crossing the red line" to win hegemony through a proxy war [against Russia].
