NY AG, DoJ to discuss Facebook probe

The New York Attorney General Letitia James arrived in Washington DC to meet the Department of Justice (DoJ) officials and discuss investigation on Facebook, Axios reported on Monday.

Letitia James leads the antitrust investigation on Silicon valley-based company and the meeting may impel DoJ to consider starting its own.

According to the sources, she is going to speak with Attorney General William Barr, Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and Associate Attorney General for antitrust Makan Delrahim.

Previously, the Federal Trade Commission requested DoJ to investigate potential antitrust activities of big tech companies.
