P&G's sales up by 7% to $19.4B in Q3

The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) announced on Wednesday that its sales jumped 7% compared to the same period the year prior, to come in at $19.4 billion in the third quarter of 2022.

The company's diluted earnings per share (EPS) came in at $1.33, 6% higher compared to the same quarter last year. Net earnings attributable to Procter & Gamble advanced by 3% and amounted to $3.4 billion.

"These results enable us to raise our top-line growth outlook for the fiscal year and to maintain our EPS guidance range. Our focus remains on the strategies of superiority, productivity, constructive disruption, and continually improving P&G’s organization and culture. These strategies have enabled us to build and sustain strong momentum," said Jon Moeller, President and Chief Executive Officer.

The company's shares gained 1.75% minutes after the release of the results in the pre-market section.
