Palladium hits fresh all-time high on supply shortage

Palladium hit a new record high for the third consecutive day, jumping to $1,602.12 per ounce on Tuesday.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' (FCA) announced earlier that it would be recalling almost 900,000 vehicles over emissions problems, an endeavor involving the replacement of catalytic converters, containing precious metals.

Platinum was also in the green, rising 0.79% to go for $859.16 per ounce at 10:47 am CET. Gold declined 0. 25% to go for $1,303.32 per ounce at 10:48 am CET, while silver fell 0.47%, to change hands for $15.31 per ounce at the same time.
