Peskov: Mass vaccination to be fine-tuned soon

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov remarked on Wednesday the process of mass vaccination against COVID-19 in Russia would be "fine-tuned soon" with "glitches removed."

His comments come after several outlets reported some regions in the Urals suspended the program over the shortage of doses. Peskov added "temporary difficulties may emerge" due to high demand for the jabs but that the government would react in a timely fashion to prevent them.

The Russian authorities' are planning to inoculate 68.6 million people against COVID-19 to achieve the necessary immunity.
