Pompeo, Navarro against TikTok deal - report
United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and White House trade adviser Peter Navarro are pushing against the Oracle Corp. TikTok deal with ByteDance Ltd., Fox Business News correspondent Charles Gasparin said on Wednesday.
The Committee on Foreign Investment is set to make the final decision on the agreement. However, it needs President Donald Trump's approval, which could be stalled due to the disagreements inside the administration.
Earlier, TikTok claimed that the deal with Oracle would resolve Washinton's concerns over national security.
