Porsche, Audi to enter Formula 1 - VW CEO

Volkswagen Chief Executive Herbert Diess stated on Monday that the top brands Audi and Porsche have agreed to join Formula 1.

Porsche's preparations to enter the top international motorsport category were a bit more concrete, the CEO told citizens of Wolfsburgers and according to local newspapers.

In the dialogue, Diess also emphasized the development of a proprietary software experience as the most significant change the automotive industry has to make, much bigger than the transition to e-mobility.
