Raab: Commons to vote on Brexit on November 27 - report

Britain's Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union Dominic Raab said on Friday that the House of Commons will vote on the Brexit deal on November 27, the press reported, citing a Buzzfeed reporter. According to the report, a number of British cabinet ministers contemplated extending the implementation period by six months in order to avoid the backstop.

Meanwhile, Raab also noted that he feels that he cannot support the divorce deal without the establishment of a time limit on the membership of a customs union.

Earlier today, Tory Commons Leader Andrea Leadsom stated that she is ready to hand in her resignation if UK Prime Minister Theresa May makes further concessions on her Brexit plan. Her statement comes after last night's meeting of senior government ministers in which May reportedly revealed some details on her latest proposal for the Irish border issue that would keep the country in EU's customs union for an unlimited amount of time after the transition period if a trade deal cannot be done in time.
