RBA keeps interest rates unchanged

Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) revealed on Tuesday it decided against adjusting its monetary policy setting in March.

The targets for the cash rate, as well as the three-year Australian Government Securities (AGS) bonds, will remain at 10 basis points, not changing when compared to last month's data.

"The outlook for the global economy has improved over recent months due to the ongoing rollout of vaccines. While the path ahead is likely to remain bumpy and uneven, there are better prospects for a sustained recovery than there were a few months ago," said RBA Governor Philip Lowe.
