Report: US to redistribute unused vaccines between states

The White House told states that unordered coronavirus vaccines would be redistributed to other states with higher demand, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

State populations determine the number of COVIdD-19 vaccine doses, however, the new policy will see unordered doses moved to a federal bank and available to states where demand outpaces supply, allowing them up to 50% above their weekly allocation.

Demand for vaccines has dropped in a number of US states in recent weeks, including in Arkansas.
