Russia started using missiles against ground targets - UK

The British Ministry of Defence in its latest Russia-Ukraine update said Moscow has lately increased ground attacks driven by ammunition shortages, particularly longer-range precision missiles.

The ministry's comments come after Russia reportedly used a long-range air defense missile to strike the city of Zaporizhzhia on Friday, which killed 25 civilians, according to local Ukrainian authorities.

"Russia's stock of such missiles is highly likely limited and is a high-value resource designed to shoot down modern aircraft and incoming missiles, rather than for use against ground targets," the ministry claimed.
