Russia, Ukraine agree new prisoner exchange

The Head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin (pictured) announced on Thursday that Russia and Ukraine agreed to exchange prisoners later in the day.

Pushilin noted in a Telegram post that each side will hand over 50 prisoners of war to the other side. He added that among those set to be released are 12 fighters from DRP and eight from the Lugansk People's Republic.

The two sides have been swapped prisoners throughout their conflict with several exchanges taking place last week.
