Russia: UNSC vote sparks more Nord Stream case doubts

The United Nations (UN) Security Council's (UNSC) decision not to support Moscow's request for an international investigation of the blasts that occurred at the Nord Stream gas pipeline network has led to increased suspicion about who is behind the incident, Russia's permanent representative to the organization Vasily Nebenzya stated on Monday.

"We will draw the necessary conclusions for ourselves. We are sure that more detailed facts will emerge and all those involved in the sabotage of Nord Stream will be identified, and all the details of this crime will be disclosed," Nebenzya told the council.

Additionally, the envoy said to the media that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is expected to attend several UNSC meetings in April.
