Russia used advanced 'Malka' artillery in attack - Defense Ministry

The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Sunday that the country's army has used the cutting edge "Malka" self-propelled artillery weapon in a recent attack on fortified Ukrainian positions.

"Artillerymen revealed the location of enemy positions and struck. Coordinated crews of the 203-mm self-propelled 'Malka' guns conducted live fire from closed firing positions with high-explosive fragmentation shells at a distance of up to 40 kilometers," it was noted in the report.

Yesterday evening, the Russian ambassador to the United Kingdom Andrey Kelin told BBC News that Moscow is not considering using nuclear weapons in its ongoing military operations in Ukraine.
