Ryanair's Laudamotion closing Vienna HQ

Austrian low-cost airline Laudamotion announced on Friday it will close its headquarters in Vienna as the transport union refused to accept crisis-related salary cuts for the company's staff.

"Lauda deeply regrets the loss of more than 300 jobs for its A320-team and the closing of Lauda's A320 base in Vienna on May 29," the Ryanair's subsidiary stated.

On the other hand, the trade union Vida insisted the reduced wages would go under the country's guaranteed minimum income and there the proposal couldn't be accepted.
