S. Korea looking to better relationship with N. Korea

South Korea is looking to cooperate with North Korea in the hope of implementing bilateral projects between the two nations, Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Lee Do-hoon (pictured) stated.

He said that promoting dialogue between Seoul and Pyongyang could aid denuclearization talks with the United States, adding that better inter-Korean relations are beneficial for both Seoul and Washington.

Earlier this week, South Korean President Moon Jae-in claimed Pyongyang remains open to discussing denuclearization with the US.
