S. Korean officials travel to Pyongyang for summit preparation

Over 90 Seoul officials travelled to Pyongyang on Sunday to make preparations for the upcoming summit between the South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The group consists of 93 South Korean state officials, reporters and technical staff, Yonhap reported. The inter-Korean summit will be held in the North Korean capital from September 18 to 20, with the focus on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

After the previous summit in April, the two countries made an agreement and later opened a joint liaison office intended for better communication between the two countries. During the meeting, Kim Jong-un claimed North Korea can denuclearize within two years.
