S. Korean priest arrested on quarantine avoiding accusations

A leader of South Korean religious movement Lee Man-hee was arrested on Saturday under the accusations that his community is acting against government efforts to track church members who may have been infected with the coronavirus.

According to Yonhap News, prosecutors requested the warrant as they suspect lee provided false documents on the church gatherings to health authorities in order to avoid prolonged quarantine.

According to the latest information, the overall number of infected people in South Korea stands at 14,336 while 13,233 people have been reportedly recovered. The death toll reached 301.
