S. Korea's daily COVID-19 infections fall below 30

Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) revealed the number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Korea fell below 30 on Sunday, as 27 new infections were seen during the past twenty-four hours.

After the cases registered on Saturday are included, the total number of people who tested positive for the virus in the country reached 11,468. Additionally, the Asian nation confirmed one virus-related death during the day, taking its coronavirus death toll to 270.

In the meantime, the number of nationwide recoveries increased to reach 10,405, after 7 more patients were released from hospitals, the KCDC confirmed.
