Schlumberger Q4 revenue at $6.2B, after 13% rise
Schlumberger Limited said on Friday its revenue in the year's fourth quarter annually increased by 13% to stand at $6.22 billion. For the entire 2021, the figure was 2.8% lower than in 2020, and amounted to $22.9 billion.
Diluted earnings per share soared 55.5% to $0.42 in the fourth trimester, compared to the same period a year before, while the 2021 figure reached $1.32, marking a significant rise compared to the $7.57 loss per share seen in 2020. Schlumberger's net income came in at $611 million in the three-month period and at $1.93 billion in the entire year. The quarterly net income was 59.9% higher compared to the final trimester of 2020.
"In retrospect, we started 2021 with a constructive outlook and an ambition to visibly expand margins and deliver robust free cash flow, while remaining focused on capital discipline," CEO Olivier Le Peuch commented.
