Softbank spends $4.66B on shares buyback

Japanese multinational conglomerate holding company SoftBank Group Corp. said on Monday it has allocated $4.66 billion (¥499.9 billion) to buy back 107.7 million of its shares since March.

Furthermore, SoftBank spent $1.75 billion on buying back 36.1 million shares in the period between June 1 and June 15.

Last month, Softbank released its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31 that showed the company has suffered an annual net loss of $7.47 billion (¥800.76 billion).
