South Korea's PM calls for measures against rain

South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo urged the relevant services to prepare a preemptive response to heavy rain that could hit the country again and the severe damages it may cause.

Han Duck-soo also told local authorities to label the most affected areas as special disaster zones and apply for the government's aid in combating the consequences of the storms.

Earlier this week, South Korea was hit with the most severe rainfalls in the past 80 years, which killed 14 people.
