SpaceX upgraded Falcon 9 launches successfully

SpaceX launched an upgraded version of its Falcon 9 rocket successfully from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Friday.

The new and final version dubbed Block 5 will be used for manned missions to the International Space Station and is capable of "at least 100 flights before being retired," SpaceX chief executive officer Elon Musk told reporters ahead of the launch. The mission launched the Bangabandhu Satellite-1, a telecommunications satellite for the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.

Following the successful launch, the rocket made a safe landing on the ocean platform "Of Course I Still Love You."
