Starmer: Johnson wrong to renege on Withdrawal Agreement

Britain's Leader of the Opposition Sir Keir Starmer stated on Monday Boris Johnson is "making a mistake" reneging on the Withdrawal Agreement. He said this move would have repercussions but that he is happy to "look again" if Johnson goes away and brings back "something that will work."

Speaking to LBC TV, Starmer said he supports the gatherings restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, coming in force today, and urged the public to follow it.

"The Labour Party that I lead will not go along with breaking international law," said Starmer adding that Brexit has become "so tiresome," and that people have "become numb" by all the misinformation.
