Tehran: Iran won't allow anyone to replace its oil sales

Iran won't allow any country to replace its oil supply in the crude market, the country's Oil Ministry spokesman said on Thursday, according to Fars News Agency. The outlet also added that Tehran believes that the United State will not reissue waivers for Iranian oil imports.

On Wednesday, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Tehran will continue to sell as much of its oil as it wants in spite of the United States sanctions and Washington's decision not to extend waivers from the measures earlier given to certain countries.

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stated that Tehran will be willing to enter negotiations with the US only if Washington lifts the "illegal" embargo.
